Equi-Core group sessions are an ideal way of learning this new method in the company of your friends.
These sessions are geared towards a class format and are priced accordingly.
As with the One to One session, I would initially visit the group at your stables or yard and perform an initial assessment of your riding ability. I would also video this session, this allowing you all to see for yourself my findings.
These video assessments would be shown privately on a one to one basis.
The group session lasts a little longer as there are naturally more people to assess.
The time frame would be discussed when I know how many people are in the group. The price would also be reflected in the number of people being assessed.
Regardless of ability, I am confident I will identify something that can be improved. At this point I would assess the best options for you all!
Some riders need only a small amount of correction to their position to see great improvements. Whereas others need a little more help. I would also include work off the horse.
This groundwork for the rider allows them to gain great confidence off the horse. There would then be homework prescribed before participating in the follow up session.
I would run through specific program of exercises with the group and explain that good technique is vital to the success of this program.
The riders will gain confidence on the ground before putting this new found knowledge to the test on their horse.
The follow up session will identify any changes or issues that have been thrown up by the riders.
I then look again at rider technique to see if they have grasped the concept and can successfully apply these new training principles. Some people initially find the new way of riding very different and this is only expected as it takes time to become accustomed to their new way of riding.
Soon their old way of riding becomes a distant memory as the new more effective way takes over.
The inclusion of Equi-Core allows riders from all backgrounds the opportunity to feel more balanced, confident and effective on their horse.
The Group sessions are specifically designed for small groups of around 5 people.
Anyone wanting to improve their riding whether it be recreational, to improve their riding to participate in BHS, Riding Club or Pony Club exams or to improve their technique for competition, would all hugely benefit from Equi-Core.
